We are looking for skilled and dependable Data Center Technicians to join our team. The role involves providing on-site and remote hands support for our clients’ data center operations. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers, network devices, and other IT equipment.

Technical Skills:

✅ Technical knowledge: Familiarity with server, storage, and networking hardware.

✅ Strong proficiency in server hardware (Dell, HPE, IBM,Supermicro).

✅ Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper and other network equipments.

✅ Problem-solving: Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve hardware issues.

✅ Ability to interpret technical schematics and documentation.

✅ Cabling expertise: Experience in structured cabling, labeling, and cable testing.

✅ Physical ability: Capable of lifting and installing rack-mounted equipment.

✅ Security awareness: Adherence to data center access protocols and compliance standards.

✅ Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

✅ Strong communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written.

✅ Documentation: Accurate record-keeping of interventions, changes, and asset management.

Smart-Hands Operations

🔹 Physical equipment installation, changes, and decommissioning: Install or remove servers, storage devices, network switches, and other hardware per

documented instructions.

🔹 Rack and stack equipment: Position and mount devices in racks, ensuring secure connections and optimal airflow.

🔹 Cable management: Run, label, test, and organize network and power cabling.

🔹 Component replacement and upgrades: Swap faulty hardware (e.g., drives, power supplies, memory), upgrade components as directed.

🔹 Asset audits and inventory: Conduct physical inspections, tag and update hardware assets, and maintain up-to-date equipment records.

🔹 Routine maintenance tasks: Clean equipment, visually inspect for issues, check fans and status lights.

🔹 On-the-ground troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and connectivity issues that require physical access.
