I'm the third of 5 children of my parents. Born and raised in Regent Village in the rural areas of Freetown. Attended secondary school and university in Freetown. Enlisted into the Sierra Leone Police in 2003 and secured a scholarship in 2014 which got me to China to complete my Chinese language studies and also earned a Masters Degree. Upon my return from studies in 2017, I got engaged in Chinese translation work and finally resigned from the police for a full-time Translator job. When Wongor Mining secured it's large scale mining license in 2019 to mine in Kumao, I was employed as the Community Liaison Officer and my performance in that capacity over the years earned me more appointments.
