Requirements
Ford Certifications a plus!!!
High school diploma or the equivalent
Dealership Experience Preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
ASE certification is preferred
General mechanical skills
Valid driver???s license and a good driving record
All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license
Responsibilities
Repair and overhaul automobiles, vans, trucks, and other automotive vehicles in accordance with Dealership and factory standards.
Remove, disassemble, inspect, repair and replace units such as engines, transmissions and differential as required.
Realign and adjust breaks, align front ends, and repair or replace shock absorbers.
Examine and diagnose cause of any malfunction on vehicle and discuss with customer, service advisor, or service manager/director the nature and extent of damage or malfunction.
Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts.
Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
Communicate with service advisor if additional work is necessary.
Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
Road test vehicles as necessary before and/or after repair.
Properly utilize all personal protective equipment.
